Colleen and Christopher had a beautiful day. They had a perfect setting outside looking over the river. Their vows to each other had everyone in tears. They deserved the perfect day. I was honored to be there.
Hi! Welcome to my photography site! I remember getting my first camera (Kodak Disc ) when I was 7 years old and from there I knew it was something I wanted to do. I always had my camera with me and loved to journal all my photographs to tell a story. I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years. I started with a medium format Bronica camera with my huge flash, and of course film. So much to lug to those weddings and such a slow camera (forget about getting sequence shots), then onto using 35mm for their speed and for the past few years digital (which a I love). After college, I worked for Mountain Bike Magazine as Photography Director and worked with an incredible art staff. I worked with amazing photographers all across the U.S., Canada and Europe. I learned so much from them and want to thank all of them for the inspiration they gave me. I want to thank all my brides over the years, they have all been so nice, and always made me feel like I was part of their families on their most special day. It has been an honor to then go on to photograph their children as well. I love photographing children and families. I prefer environmental photography where we go to a location and I just let the children run and play and capture them in their most candid moments. Those always make the best shots. I stay at home with my three children, Gianna, Marco and Emilio who give me excellent photo opportunities every day. They bring out the child in me and keep that spark of imagination that still lies in all of us from our childhood. I love when they play dress up and pretend they are princesses, pirates, knights, you name it. Don't we all wish we could do that now : )
